Publishes Case Study on
Accessibility Solutions for the New
York State Forum and the State
University of New York

that it published a case study on its
clients the New York State Forum and the
Research Foundation of State University
of New York’s state and campus-wide
roll-out of the HiSoftware developed New
York State Forum Online Validation Tool.

the importance of the compliance testing
tool saying, “We’ve had a tremendous
response to the Validation tool since it
was made available. Over 64 New York
state agencies are using the desktop
validation tool. In addition, 66
agencies, totaling 324 individual New
York state web developers, are
registered users of the online tool. We

extraordinary results of this successful

The case study discusses the
methodology used by the New York State
Forum in conjunction with the Research
Foundation of the State University of
New York to support Web accessibility
initiatives across New York state
agencies and SUNY campuses. SUNY and the
NYS Forums’ accessibility solution
centers on the New York State Validation
Tool, created for the NYS Forum by
HiSoftware.
