Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) Renews HiSoftware Contract for Managing Web Accessibility and Usability
Expanded agreement provides all Department of Defense agencies with access to solutions for compliance testing, correcting and monitoring

Department of Defense has renewed
the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)
with the Department of the Navy, as
part of the Department of Defense
Enterprise Software Initiative (DoD-ESI).
HiSoftware will continue on the
contract supplying the company’s
Section 508 solutions for managing
Web content accessibility and
usability compliance. The Enterprise
Software Initiative is a joint DoD
project to develop and implement a
DoD enterprise process to identify,
acquire, distribute and manage
enterprise software. The contract
was awarded to DLT Solutions (www.dlt.com),
a GSA schedule holder for
HiSoftware’s full product line.
The contract now also includes the
full line of HiSoftware solutions
for Web site, Web system and Web
application compliance testing,
repairing and monitoring. The
solutions assist in managing
compliance with statutory and
regulatory (OMB and DoD)
requirements for Accessibility
(Section 508), Privacy (FISMA,
Privacy ACT, Section 208 E-Gov Act),
Site Quality, Operational Security (OpSec),
and Agency-specific content quality
guidelines. HiSoftware’s AccRepair®,
AccVerify®, and AccMonitor™
solutions can be used to meet DoD
Components’ compliance requirements.
The ESI agreement also includes
consulting and training support
services.
