HiSoftware to Present at EDUCAUSE 2008

WHAT:
HiSoftware Inc. (www.hisoftware.com), a leading provider of software, services and on-demand solutions that monitor and optimize Web content governance, quality and regulatory compliance, will present a theater presentation in the Microsoft Pavilion at EDUCAUSE 2008 in Orlando, Florida, October 28-31.

HiSoftware’s Microsoft Pavilion theater presentation, titled ‘Obtaining SharePoint Accessibility Compliance’, will address how organizations incorporate end-to-end Web Compliance solutions into their SharePoint environments by utilizing both open source and commercial offerings.

Additionally, HiSoftware’s customer, the State University of New York (SUNY), will be discussing the methodology used to support Web accessibility initiatives at SUNY campuses in a poster session titled: ‘Building a Holistic Web Accessibility Program’. SUNY's accessibility initiative is based on the New York State Validation Tool, created for the NYS Forum by HiSoftware.

Session description:
Educational institutions increasingly recognize the importance of web accessibility, but making accessible web development a standard practice can seem daunting. Learn how SUNY and the NYS Forum built a holistic Web accessibility program that includes standards, training, technical resources, and customized tools that streamline testing and remediation.
